IT WASN'T FUNNY, it was embarrassing! Rowen couldn't believe that her dog had taken hold of a stranger's ankle and wouldn't let go! Dave Archer seemed remarkably amused by the whole thing, but all Rowen wanted was to get away. Unfortunately--or was it fortunate after all?--Dave wouldn't let her. He found Rowen intriguing and infuriating by turns--but at least she was never dull! His nimble cartoonist's mind longed to know the truth about her, but he regretted it once he did. Rowen was from money, lots of it. How could he possibly ask her to share his life and live on love?
