Staying with her married sister for Easter, Natasha Markham is out in the meadow with her young nephews when she stops to admire the painting an artist is working on. She is astonished, but delighted, when he gives her the picture. Later that day, Tasha is introduced to Jonathan Talmadge, and when the young couple realise their families are match-making, they decide to string them along. Visiting the local pub with Jonathan, Tasha spots her artist friend across the bar, but he hurriedly leaves. Who is this man, and why is Jonathan so eager to fool their families?
