Days of the Endless Corvette (2007)
"Days of the Endless Corvette was an absolute hoot, yet I wondered why I had shed a tear over it. Because the character Earl Mulvaney was such a loser? No, he was also the town's hero. Was I saddened by Earl's infatuation with a dead '53 Corvette? No, with replacement parts he had almost given that car eternal life. I guess Earl was so noble, he was simply worth crying over. All the folks of Humble County, Georgia, were so sweet that I couldn't bear to leave them behind, so I'm re-reading Days of the Endless Corvett."
