My Cleveland Story

A novel by

My Cleveland Story has been a definite cult classic since it first appeared in print in 1998. It is now available for the first time in eReader formats.
Three friends come of age in the Seventies and Eighties, from high school until they start pushing thirty. Set in and around Cleveland, it has been called "The Great American Novel, the Ohio Version," by NBC TV's Steve Mackall. The Sun Newspaper's Pete Gaughan states, "Greg hits all the bases in this wonderful story."
Jason Skoda of the Lorain Journal adds, "...depicts life growing up in the Seventies and Eighties so clearly had to stop and make sure that it wasn't MY Cleveland story."
"Greg has accomplished the impossible, he has written the Great American Novel, the Ohio version. It is wonderful. I absolutely love it, from the characters to the voice it is told in. I love it all." Steve Mackall, Cleveland born Los Angeles based movie and television performer and the voice of NBC TV. "Greg Cielec is Cleveland's Mark Twain." Michael Heaton, the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Minister of Culture.
"There are so many times I had to stop reading because there was an image or a memory of someone from my Cleveland days milling through my thoughts for the first time in years. Any book that can combine sitting in the bleachers at the old stadium for Tribe games and a recipe for perogies is a great find. My Cleveland Story depicts life growing up in the Sixties to the eighties so clearly that I had to stop and make sure that it wasn't MY Cleveland Story." Jason Skoda, the Lorain Journal
"My college years have been legitimized." Patty Harken, WJW TV
"It was great to go back to a time in cleveland when the rib burn off was at Mall C...Indians fans knew George Hendrick...and Bavarian Beer was the best one could hope for." Chuck Galeti, SportsTime Ohio.
"I love it. If you didn't live a life like the ones in My Cleveland Story, you're in luck. If you did, enjoy the walk down memory lane. greg hits all the bases in this wonderful story." Pete Gaughan, Sun Newspapers.
