Ember

(2020)
(Book 12 in the Snakes Henchmen MC series)
A novel by

My name is Ember, daughter of Tank. There's only one dream I have in life, and that is to write songs and hear someone out there singing them, famous or not. However, that is just a dream, or so I thought. When my best friend betrays me with the man I thought I was mine, I take an old friend up on an offer no one in their right mind would refuse - the offer to join his band, Dun's Dungeon.
Dun's Dungeon is about to hit the big time, and they want me to join them?
Being on tour, having my lyrics out there, sung by me is bigger than a dream come true. However, I'm scared of what being out there in the limelight could mean for Snakes Henchmen MC. Jett would never allow anyone to know where I come from, too many people know already what the club is about. But that doesn't mean people in the big wide world would understand.
Luckily for me, Tank is onboard with me leaving because he knows I'll never tell anyone about the club. With Snakes Henchmen MC and my family behind me, I leave for pastures new.
What I didn't expect to find was Marco Russo, lead singer of Dun's Dungeon. He's a man whore of the worst kind, yet I see something in him that no one else does - a broken man who needs a friend. The only trouble is, I feel something for Marco that I shouldn't. I'm fresh out of a bad relationship, and starting something new with someone new can only lead to disaster.
Life out on the road isn't all it's cracked up to be; famous people aren't all they're cracked up to be. Touring with Dun's Dungeon brings problems I've never encountered. I only hope that I can find my way out of them without Snakes Henchmen getting involved.
Wishful thinking?
Without a doubt...
