Sweet Little Lies (2017)
(Cat Kinsella, book 1)
"An incredibly strong and confident voice that has hit the page fully-formed."
The Doll House (2017)
"Deliciously creepy, genuinely unnerving and incredibly confident, The Doll House is the stellar first outing of a major new voice."
Baby Teeth (2018)
"Imagine WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN only with insight into what Kevin was thinking--and if Eva had fought back. This dark, terrifying novel unfolds as a battle of wits between a struggling mother and her psychotic young daughter--and its genius is that the reader's allegiance isn't allowed to linger too long on either side. You'll be desperate to discuss the ending once you've recovered from the shock of it. A must-read."
The Trailing Spouse (2018)
"I devoured every page of this tense, intriguing novel. The Singapore setting and the portrayal of expat life there was so meticulously rendered, it’s what really made this thriller stand out for me. I love Jo’s writing style and highly recommend The Trailing Spouse. An elegant, exotic, and enthralling read."
Girl A (2020)
"Emotionally complex and beautifully written, with shades of Gillian Flynn and Ali Land, the dark secrets of Girl A unfold with cool confidence. Incredibly impressive."
The Pact (2021)
"A real atmosphere of dread permeates every page of THE PACT. You can't help but wonder what you'd do in the impossible situations these characters find themselves in - and what *they* do makes for a dark, elegant page-turner."
