"Scott Kenemore writes with a deadpan wit that makes you keep turning pages." -- Cleveland Plain Dealer

An epic memoir of war, Fallujah Heat is a compelling new tale of mystery and combat in occupied Iraq by USMC veteran Franco Mercado and bestselling author Scott Kenemore (Zombie, Ohio). Fallujah Heat follows the adventures of a single squad of Marines thrust into a world of deception, murder, and betrayal following the Battle of Fallujah. Assigned to a diplomatic mission intended to win the hearts and minds of the local populace, Corporal Franco Mercado's squad quickly uncovers evidence of a string of interconnected murders and a plot that may implicate one of the highest-ranking sheiks in the new Iraq. Operating at a remote outpost on the edge of the city - and in the violent haze between war and peace - one Marine squad finds itself at the center of a dark conspiracy beyond their wildest imagining. Fallujah Heat is a thrilling, action-packed story that is sure to connect with fans of military history, war, and adventure.
