Abiding Hope

(2019)
(The third book in the Abide With Me series)
A novel by

This short story is a contemporary re-imagining of the Biblical parable of the Good Samaritan. In it, Diane Greenwood Muir, author of the Bellingwood series, tells the story of a girl who has lost all hope for her future, only to find it again when her life collapses.

Hope Cantrell is your typical party girl. There isn't a thing she won't try. Sex, drugs, alcohol? She's done it all. She knows she doesn't have much of a future, but the parties dull her concerns. Besides, no one really cares what happens to her.

Angela Lopez has seen the worst that life can offer. She experienced much of it herself. The generous love offered to her by an incredible friend over many years allowed her to grow and transform, becoming the woman her younger self wouldn't recognize.

Hope and Angela meet on a day when their lives have crumbled to pieces around them. Loss, grace, and love bring them together in this beautiful story of Abiding Hope.
