I’d thought it was going to be just another Wednesday. But when the Secret Service knocked on my door and “invited” me to the White House, I wasn’t sure I’d ever have another average day again.

As a reporter, it was my job to keep up with everything that had to do with this administration, but when the door to the oval office opened and I was greeted by my former high school boyfriend, I realized I’d missed something pretty big.
