Dogwood Donuts shop owner, Maggie Sharpe, is a bit frustrated when she receives a call from the shop that there is trouble with a delivery order.
When she arrives, the delivery driver is being difficult, but he’s the least of her worries when they hear a man’s voice calling for help from the alley.
Things turn from bad to worse when the driver disappears and the man in distress dies on the way to the hospital.
Maggie wants to find out why the delivery company is scamming her, but since she believes the two situations are related, she finds herself in serious trouble the deeper she digs.
As time goes on, more questions arise and the answers become harder to find.
Can she get to the bottom of the mess left behind by the delivery company, or will she find herself next on the victim list.
