A Novella by

However bad things seem, Christmas is always a time for hope. For Molly, hope is the only thing she has left.

The orphaned Molly follows her friend Betsy to become a mail-order bride.

Rather than a life of bliss out west as Betsy has found, Molly faces only lies and deception on her arrival in Colorado. Patrick is not looking forward to his first Christmas without his beloved wife as he lights a candle in her memory to burn in the window of the ranch house that he now shares with his infant daughter Lily. He must battle on alone, but he is not sure he knows how.

Lost and facing certain death, Molly follows the light of a faint candle burning in the distance as she fights her way through snow and a blizzard in unknown territory.

Can a brave flicker of light bring hope and salvation to two strangers brought together at Christmas?
