Alessandro Gatti studied a lot of philosophy as a young man, but then he thought it was best to start writing novels for children. Along with Pierdomenico Baccalario and Lucia Vaccarino, he is also the author of the novels in the Sherlock, Lupin & Me series, written under the pseudonym Irene Adler, which has been published in multiple countries, including the United States. He is also the author of the ten-volume series featuring Klincus Corteccia and of the Misteri coi baffi series with Davide Morosinotto. For a few years he has also been a comic book writer for Disney.
