Twenty year old Kenly "Dime" Simmons woke up every morning on a mission to save a child from an abusive environment. Growing up in a hostile environment, Kenly knew all too well what the harsh realities of the hood life could do to a child. She was a social worker, but definitely not your typical social worker.

Kenly was the granddaughter of the founder of Bay City Hustlers, a ruthless gang that originated in Baltimore, Maryland. Growing tired of the abuse received from her family, her older brother Rocky got them out of that harmless situation only to get them into a situation that proved to be harsher. Kenly found herself giving birth to the daughter of Paco "Punch" Alvarez, ruthless gang leader of Stacks.

The only way out of the street life proved to be death. In the midst of a storm, Kenly finds herself needing the help of an old friend by the name of Karany "Kar" Arian, son of a Ugandan store owner that supplied her boyfriend's crew with the drugs and the street artillery they needed to run the streets of Baltimore. Tragedy strikes. The perfect chance for Kenly's escape. Or is it?
