Elouise's Campaign

(2023)
(The fifth book in the Suffrage Spinsters series)
A novel by

She was satisfied with remaining a spinster and working for women's rights - until she laid eyes on the Sheriff of Cheyenne...

As the daughter of a famed suffragist, Elouise had ever known her purpose in life: to petition for civil rights that would better the nation she loved, just as her mother had. Traveling the country, she organizes marches, parades, and many other events that might draw attention to the cause. There had never been time for courtship and romance, and what did a woman like her need a man for, anyway? She may be a spinster, but single women were still very capable of making a difference. Take Susan B. Anthony or Lucy Stone, for example.

When Elouise is sent west to garner support amongst the population there, she accidentally tosses a pie onto Sheriff Criddle's boots and even spends time warming one of his jail cells. Travel plans gone awry toss them together, and while the sheriff is busy unraveling the meaning behind threatening notes he's been receiving, Elouise can't help but admire the man. The day the sheriff goes missing, she'll have to decide exactly how much - and what she's going to do about it.

Elouise’s Campaign is part of the multi-author series Suffrage Spinsters but can be read as a standalone story, written by an author who adores a sweet, happy ending.
