When I ran from my old life, I had a plan: sell my family’s old hotel furniture—the only thing I own of value—and disappear.
The snow-covered town of Perish Prosper was supposed to be a stopover to make my pitch, not a new beginning.
Then I crashed my car.
That’s when I met him—Dale Wither. Local hottie, cowboy, and the very man I was supposed to pitch my furniture to.
Instead, he takes me in, gives me a job, and insists I’m spending Christmas with him.
Unfortunately, my past followed me in the form of an obsessed ex. I’ll never be safe while he’s alive, but what am I to do? The only thing I can.
I need to run. Dale doesn’t let me. And when I tell him it’s not safe having me around, he vows no one will ever hurt me again.
