(The first book in the Barty Symonds Mystery series)
A novel by

I think I'm your sister.

When private detective
Barty Symonds receives a call from a 12-year-old claiming to be his sister, he finds the fact of her existence far more shocking than her claim that her father has vanished in the dead of night. After all, he did the same to Barty fifteen years ago.

Barty remembers his father as an ill-tempered petty criminal with no interest in his wife or child. But when he arrives in the village of Pivert, nestled in the picturesque New Forest, he learns his father was a valued member of the community and a doting single parent. Crucially, no one believes he would willingly leave his daughter guardianless and alone.

Compelled to investigate by the fast and surprisingly deep bond formed with his sister, Barty learns there has been another recent disappearance in the village. He knows this can be no coincidence, and soon thinks he is nearing the truth.

Then someone is murdered, and as the only newcomer in a tight-knit village, Barty soon finds himself balancing his role of investigator with that of prime suspect.

But Not Forgotten is the first in the Barty Symonds mystery series. Perfect for readers of Sally Rigby, Robert Gold, Robert Galbraith and Mark Dawson.
