Liam Catwell, the grumpy detective would rather work alone.
He certainly doesn’t need help from his best friend’s sister playing investigative journalist, who’s also his ex-girlfriend.
In the mean time Sheila’s determined to insert herself in the investigation and commandeers her brother, Aaron, Liam’s partner, to give her access.
Against his better judgment, Liam decides to accept her help as intrusive thoughts of their past threaten to derail his progress.
When a child disappears, the town is quickly galvanized to help search for him and once again fear threatens to paralyze the small town of Hillsborough.
