Corrupting His Mates
(2025)(The eighth book in the Monster Gentleman's Club series)
A novel by Poppy Aster
Welcome to the Den; a monster gentlemen’s club that caters to our patron’s filthiest desires. Where willing females are auctioned for a single night of anonymous sex in exchange for half their auction price. The catch? They can’t keep their memories.
Fenrir
As the faction alpha for the wolf shifters,I’ve been summoned to the Den for a meeting. Instead, I’m sidetracked by a human couple whose passionate, yet strained, embrace stops me in my tracks. When the woman slips inside the stage door for the monthly auction, something I can’t explain tugs at my heart. The man she leaves behind is desperately underfed and shaking from the quickly dropping temperatures. Whatever reason brought them to the auction clearly isn’t a decision made lightly, but a sacrifice.
Jude
I’m stewing in my misery when a tall stranger suddenly drapes his arm around my shoulders and leads me inside the club to get warm. I’m not sure what to think about the way he shows genuine concern for my well being. No one, except for Sophie, has ever cared that I exist. But there is something about Fen that has me baring my soul, telling him how we are on the cusp of being homeless and losing everything.
I thought watching the auction would be the hardest part of my night, but then Fin bids on my girl. And wins.
Sophie
Jude is the only man I’ve ever been with and I love him more than anything. He’s sacrificed so much and works so hard, but every time we get one step forward, something happens to knock us two steps back. Now it’s my turn to do whatever it takes to get us through this hardship, even if it means selling myself for a night in exchange for a fortune.
When the door opens to reveal the winner, I can hardly believe my eyes when it’s Jude who runs to me. But he’s not alone, there is a monster of a man behind him and I don’t miss the way his piercing gaze lingers on Jude before it moves to me.
He may have won me, but something tells me he wants to keep us both.
