Transporting a prisoner is dangerous work as any lawman will tell you. For Marshal Jim Long that danger is increased when the prisoner puts a bounty on his own head. Now, a posse is chasing Long with the intent of killing his prisoner. He stumbles upon a woman abandoned by her husband. With danger not far behind, he has no choice but to protect the woman and her son as well as his prisoner. The posse thinks it will be easy to kill Jace Connors and collect the bounty, but they don’t know Jim Long.
