The Mission
The Hope Mission: Dreamed up by the International Space Agency the mission's motto is ‘To Save Mankind.’ In the name of hope, nine spacecraft were launched into the deadness of deep space, each carrying a single occupant, an explorer searching for a Goldilocks World to colonize before time runs out on planet Earth.

The Explorer
Becca is one such space explorer tasked with the mission of saving humanity. Utilizing a virtual reality technology known as ‘The Chair’ Becca visits a set of preprogrammed worlds, in search of water and boron, the building blocks of life. But each time Becca sits down in the chair, she loses a bit of herself. Her memories become like Swiss cheese as she struggles to recall the people back home she is trying to save. Soon her own name is a mystery. Loneliness silently gnaws at her in the cold empty spaceship. But loneliness is a luxury she cannot afford on this mission.

The Planet
The red planet seems like the perfect world for colonization with its Earth-like atmosphere. But Becca needs more time. Time to explore and prove that this planet is the one that could save humanity. However, a geomagnetic storm is coming that could disrupt everything.

The Choice
If she stays, she jeopardizes the mission and risks doing serious damage to her ship. She could be stranded on that empty world forever. If she goes, she might be leaving behind the one planet in the vastness of space that could support human life.
