A secret daughter. The world champion who never stopped wondering why she disappeared. And sixteen days on Olympic ice to face the truth they left behind.
Four years ago, Camille Laurent walked away from Mateo Cruz with one secret she was too terrified to share.
Their daughter.
Now Camille is back at the Winter Games, chasing one final medal while keeping motherhood safely separated from the career she fought to reclaim.
Then Mateo sees her.
The Team USA world champion has spent four years turning his body into a machine—because speed, strength, and winning are the only things he has ever trusted himself to be good at.
Camille remembers differently.
She remembers the man beneath all that controlled power. And when the Olympic schedule forces them onto the same ice again, their bodies remember exactly what four years of silence never erased.
But Mateo still doesn’t know he has a three-year-old daughter waiting at Lake Como.
And some secrets don’t survive a second chance.
Fast Ice is a high-heat, open-door secret-baby second-chance Olympic speed skating romance featuring forced proximity, a fiercely independent single mother, a powerful athlete hero, emotional redemption, and a guaranteed happily-ever-after.
Genre: Romance
