This is a cruel place where even the dead can’t rest.

A librarian wakes up in a post-apocalyptic world to find that vampires and monsters are real and if she wants to survive, she’ll need monsters of her own.

In a desolate wasteland, four monsters decide Odette belongs to them and they vow to protect her whether she likes it or not. Yet all this librarian cares about is finding the last vestiges of her world before it was blown apart. To do that, she reluctantly agrees to travel with a dangerous yet
annoying vampire.

It’s not just the world that has changed, with fangs and claws everywhere she turns, there’s something wrong with her too. She’s hot, sick (and slick), and smells are overwhelming, but Odette’s vampire tells her that’s normal for
omegas. Odette doesn’t know what that is but quickly learns being an omega puts her in danger and she has to keep it a secret at all costs.

Even among the monsters, some are feared above others. Alphas are bigger, stronger, and deadlier. They’re also extremely possessive of things they consider theirs. Odette collects alphas to keep her safe but struggles to keep them at arm’s length. She doesn’t want a mate, much less four of them. Still, her alphas fight through monsters, the dead, murderous gangs, and a spurned mafia family, all for this little omega.

Odette must decide if she’s willing to let go of her past in order to have a future, a future that includes the dangerous alphas at her side.

This is a why choose monster romance set in a post-apocalyptic, dark omegaverse world where living isn’t easy, but neither is being dead
