Barry Holt is not a detective. He's an amateur magician from Wolverhampton, killing time at Kingpin Bowl while his wife assesses the venue for a client. Then the owner announces he's selling up, tempers flare, and twenty minutes later the man is found dead. Crushed by the pin-setting machine on Lane 8.
