Joshua believes home is where he'll be when the pain finally ends.

His grandmother used to say she was being called home, and someday, he would see her there. He didn't expect that day to come in his twenties, but when the life he hoped for never materializes, he knows it's time to go home too.

Almost.

He'll indulge in one last meal at his favorite diner. Then one last cigarette. And finally, a ride along the coast to where he'll see grandma again.

Matthew noticed something was wrong with the kid at the counter but didn't think much of it. He was calm, almost relieved as he emptied his wallet for the waitress and then strode out to the bike that was obviously his pride and joy. But when Matthew drives past that same bike a few miles down the road, close to where the cliffs drop off to the ocean, he knows something is wrong.

And tired as he is, he has to help.

This spinoff of The Lactin Brotherhood world has darker edges but the same loving relationships full of strong yet vulnerable men who naturally lactate and the boys who love them. This M/M romance has heavy themes including a suicide attempt, depression, and finding your way home when you think you no longer have one.
