Eva Merriman and Kellie O'Rourke: Books 1-2
(2025)(A book in the Eva Merriman and Kellie O'Rourke series)
An omnibus of novels by Alistair Birch
Two epic action thrillers in one volume.
Shadow Pursuit - Book 1
That was an epic thriller that had you on your toes from start to finish. The plot lines came together so well at the end. The characters you could empathise with and, while there were different groups to follow, the story flowed so well you had a clear picture of what was going on in that cohort. The writer's ability to immerse you in the story pulled me into a page turner I didn't want to put down and now I'm looking forward to his next book - hoping to see the same characters followed up. A well-deserved 5 stars!

Kellie O'Rourke needs answers. Who was her father and where did her half-sister Alice come from? At the death of their mother, she discovers letters which could explain everything. But then they came.
Out of her depth, Alice is in trouble and when the thugs come for her, they meet Kellie instead. And now, Kellie's life has spun out of control.
Eighteen months later, MI5 analyst Eva Merriman is part of a team investigating a string of deaths across the country. The toxins involved have raised the threat level enough to involve the security services.
Meanwhile, a sinister organisation continues its testing program of death. Their deadly plans and choice of target will change the world. So close to discovering the perfect killing solution, they will stop at nothing.
After the death of a scientist they had coerced, can Kellie, and unbeknown to her, Eva, stop an evil madman and his organisation, before it is too late?

An assassin who survived the fallout, known only as 'Fisher', seeks redemption. For him, it is personal. And this time he's coming for Eva, and all of MI5.
