I usually love road trips. Good music, bad snacks, questionable gas station coffee. This one? Not so much.

The Ash Tree Wife may be dealt with, but her savage Franken-bear creation, Brambleback, escaped into the woods.
And he’s heading north.

Since that’s almost certainly going to end badly, Cameron, Kat, and I are hot on his trail. Because chasing supernatural monsters across Ontario is what my life is now.

Unfortunately, Malyk is acting weird, my sword is still more decorative than useful, and our travels land us in Dunbarrow, a tiny town on the edge of a provincial park where everyone is incredibly friendly, nobody answers a straight question, and something is watching us from the woods.

Nothing creepy about that.

Whatever Dunbarrow is hiding goes way beyond a few small-town secrets. The forest isn’t behaving like any forest should, and Brambleback seems to know exactly where he’s going.

If we can’t figure out what he’s looking for before he finds it, our little road trip might end with us all getting planted.

Permanently.

Grab your copy of Into the Woods and join Zo and her team as they cross over into the territory of Dani and the gang from the Green Warden Codex. Expect a fast-paced urban fantasy adventure packed with supernatural mysteries, creepy folklore, cursed forests, found family, dangerous magic, and things lurking where the streetlights end.
