For thousands of years, the Ghoul God has waited.
During a raid on a remote abbey in Europe, a team of mercenaries recovers a relic. Unknown to the team, it possesses a latent power of domination over weak and vulnerable minds. On their flight back to the US to deliver this relic to their employer, an event aboard the plane cripples the plan, sending the plane into the swamps of the isolated Southern town of Brackenville.
