Rustler\'s Moon

Rustler's Moon

A novel by

Bart Hall, a private investigator, was in La Junta prison, Colorado, on an undercover job when he first encountered an enterprising outlaw named Jake Harris with a curious symbol tattooed on the back of his hand: a letter 'H' in a circle. Bart had seen the symbol before, and later, he saw it again when a ring bearing the same device reached him from his deceased stepfather. With the ring on his finger he sought the Circle H ranch near Bonanza Springs, Texas, and quickly became involved in the family feud between the rancher and the renegade son previously encountered in prison. Small scale rustling got out of hand, and Bart flirted with death on several occasions before the big showdown allowed him to contemplate his promising future.
