Story:
Daisy, an interior designer and hobby baker from Edinburgh, takes a break from her hectic life in the city. She goes to live in a cottage near a loch in a quaint little village in the Scottish Highlands hoping for a relaxing time to rethink her career plans and unwind.
But nothing goes according to plan when the laird of the local castle hires Daisy to design the interiors for the new luxury holiday cabins he’s adding to the castle’s hotel facilities. And Bradoch, owner of the bakery in the village’s main street wants her to help him with the interior designs for the new tea shop he’s opening soon.
Then there’s the lively ceilidhs, ballroom dancing and parties at the castle. A wedding reception and an engagement party. Becoming a member of the local crafting bee, learning quilting, sewing and mending, and needle felting. Learning to bake cakes, bread and scones from Bradoch. Daisy’s diary is busier than ever.
Determined to say yes to things rather than no, Daisy throws herself into the heart of the welcoming small town cosy community. But will she yes to a happier life for herself in the village, or go back to the city? And will Daisy say yes to romance with one of the local handsome men?
