Ball Bearings
(2026)(The third book in the Grizzly Protection: Alaska Shifter Branch series)
A novel by Elva Birch
Deck the balls!
Baxter came to Alaska to satisfy a security contract, not lose his heart to the harsh state or the plucky ballbuster machinist whose shop was vandalized. He just has to survive a cabin with no running water and a cold snap to thirty below during the darkest days of the year, keep his bear from making him look like an idiot, and figure out who is behind the threat to DJ.
DJ knows she's not the best with people, but Baxter makes her feel like she's more than just a machine. It’s just too bad he’s completely insane and has delusions about being a shapeshifter and having a voice in his head; usually cabin fever takes longer to kick in.
Ball Bearings is a sizzling shifter romance romp that will warm your heart and freeze your toes, with huddling together for warmth, a low-key mystery, and a lot of laughs.
Genre: Paranormal Romance
