When Roger, Diana and Snubby go to stay at Ring O'Bells village, their old friend Barney hitch-hikes over with his monkey Miranda to join them. Barney has nowhere to stay so he decides to sleep in Ring O'Bells Hall which is now a museum. But eerie things start to happen - bells ring by themselves, noises come from a blocked-up secret passage, and there are some unfriendly strangers about.
