I don’t intend to let either happen.
I suspected that vampire-controlled Las Vegas would take more from me than I wanted to lose. If I’d known that thing would be Dimitry, my new lover, and the only person I have left in the world, I’d have fought harder to stay away.
A lot can happen in a week. Dimitry could be dead, and I just don’t know it yet. But my heart tells me he’s still alive. He has to be.
