She’s a wildflower who brings color and music to this grumpy silver fox’s life. In the end, the only thing that matters is letting their love grow.

Finley McGovern loves her job as a landscape designer so much she even relishes grubbing in the dirt alongside her team. Once her Pops retired, she took over and has been slowly growing the business (pun intended). When she lands a massive project, she is certain she can make the new homeowner’s dreams come to life. But along with a chance to design a show-stopping yard comes an inconvenient attraction to the slightly older, very grumpy client. Her grandfather has a strict policy against dating clients, but Fin knows that if you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun.

Declan Adams is a world-renowned architect, specializing in creating intimate theaters for budding musicians and artists. For years, he has hidden his previous career as a famous musician. Upheaval in his life caused him to step away from the spotlight, a decision he has never regretted. Once he finished remodeling his own home, it was time to tackle the grounds surrounding his country oasis. The landscaper he hired has exceptional recommendations, and seriously great legs. Fighting his desire for this younger woman should not be so difficult.

A relationship begins to grow between them, each one throwing away their inhibitions in favor of their budding romance. However, one of Fin’s employees reveals Declan’s alter ego by live-streaming from the man’s home, forcing Declan to retreat from what could be a beautiful love story.

Sending Fin away was a serious mistake Declan intends to fix by creating a whimsical way to win her back. His only prayer is that his wildflower understands the meaning behind each scavenger hunt clues he leaves her. Will their love go fallow or will grow?
