Defiant Ones: Two Kettles Together
(2026)(The sixth book in the Defiant Ones series)
A Story by Heather Blanton
History remembers the soldiers. It's time to remember the women who fought for liberty alongside them.
Before the American Revolution changed a nation, Two Kettles Together was already discovering that faith sometimes requires choosing a path even when it divides everything you love.
Taken from her Cherokee people as a child, raised among the Mohawk, and later adopted by the Oneida after marrying Honyery, Two Kettles Together has spent her life between worlds. But as revolution spreads across the colonies, the Six Nations begin to fracture, forcing the Oneida to choose between the British Crown and the Patriot cause.
When Two Kettles Together discovers British forces advancing toward Fort Stanwix, she risks her life to carry vital intelligence. Soon, she and Honyery ride into the Battle of Oriskany, where former allies become enemies and she must draw upon every part of who she is: wife, woman of faith, Oneida, and warrior.
Inspired by true events, Defiant Ones: Two Kettles Together is a captivating historical novelette about faith, freedom, identity, and the heartbreaking cost of standing for what you believe when war turns brother against brother.
