Ahoy, y'all. This here's Captain Rusty, the notorious pirate scourge of space. At least until the end of the weekend.
You see, there are folks who like to reenact historical space-pirate battles for fun. Just like those Civil War buffs back home, but with more blasters and less mutton chops. Anyway, two of their pretend pirate crews had to bail right before their big pageant, so the No Stress Space Express and Karlie's gang stepped in to save the day. How could we not? All the swashbuckling with none of the actual misbehaving? Even my mama would approve of that.
Now, these reenactment folks have carefully planned maneuvers, historically correct dialogue, and period-accurate costumes. We've got… enthusiasm. Karlie's treating the boarding raids like speed-dating events, Jenna's plundering the enemy's sweets, and Mike's singin' space shanties bad enough to force an unconditional surrender. And my Piper? Let's just say you don't want to be on the wrong end of her foam cutlass when she gets into character.
We're gonna give this pirate club a show they'll never forget. Whether they invite us back is another matter…
