Black Jo of the Pecos

Black Josephine Callard was a mystery. Nobody knew where she came from or whither she returned. The one certainty about her was that she ran a highly successful gang. Deputy U.S. Marshal Frank Haggard at last ran up against her and her confederates near the Pecos river, but everything went wrong when he tried to make his arrests. He would have to exercise all his cunning and ability to stay alive before he could defeat the gang and solve the mystery.
