Jeremy’s collection of Affinities keeps growing along with the threats to his survival…
After surviving an attack by a mysterious figure, as well as navigating his way through environmental hazards that would likely end a normal person, Jeremy has come through battered, bruised, and broken – but alive. Now, he is being brought to the Kingdom of Harwen to recover and to detail recent events to the Defenders there, where he quickly discovers that his confrontations with these mysterious figures aren’t limited to just his own experiences anymore.
Unfortunately, this news is yet another worry on Jeremy’s mind that is starting to weigh him down. As much as he’d like more information about this new issue, what he needs more than anything is a break. Ever since leaving the Academy, he feels like he’s been on the run, without a second to relax and adjust to his newest Affinities, so he is in desperate need of carving out some time for his own. As his 11th birthday approaches, Jeremy wishes to explore his newest Abilities to finally see what he can do with them, using his connections with the Defenders to do so.
But will the mounting threats leave him alone? Or will he have to acquire even more Affinities to stay ahead of them?
