Three bodies are found in the low country of South Carolina, each an unidentified Hispanic girl—a fulanita. Sergeant Leroy Kelley, head of the Special Victims Unit, finds the third girl, Naomi Alvarez, seriously injured but still clinging to life. Why are these children being killed?
