(The first book in the Steampunk Ever After series)
A novel by

If Belle were a sunny librarian and the beast were a grumpy recluse allergic to roses....

Rosabella could not be more thrilled to open the first library in their county, until her first patron arrives with his surly disposition and makes off with a book without even properly checking it out.
Huxley hates roses and the violent reaction his skin has to their oil proves roses hate him back. He will stop at nothing to destroy the garden overtaking his home and return to his peace. At least, that is the goal until the ever optimistic Rosabella pops into his life.
Now, feelings that he wants nothing to do with are stirring and the woman is threatening all of his plans. Just when he considers letting his guard down around her, he realizes her father and his unwanted inventions are partly to blame for the aggressively growing rose bushes ruining his life.

Add in a Gaston like villain, a few misunderstandings, and a quaint Victorian era English village and you have your next low stakes, sweet romance read to bring a smile to your face and some new sparks to your imagination!
