What do you do when the queen of the faeries was a witch and she caught you with her daughter?

In the wilds of ancient Scotland, LIonel finds Thomasina while rounding up his wayward sheep. The first touch and his werelion tells him to claim her. Something in her called to him, and he cannot resist it. But, like him, she turns out to be more than human. And, to his dismay, she comes with her very own curse which could kill him.

Thomasina is running from her mother, Queen of the Faeries, and the curse following her family. She runs into Lionel, and heat strikes them both. Perfect. She could have him, a virtual stranger, with no danger to her heart which would circumvent the curse. But then, LIonel turns out to be more than she presumed, and her heart is engaged whether she would will it or no.

And then her mother interferes and the curse catches up with them. Can she live long enough to have her happily ever after?
