The Galloping Broncos are riding for their lives. Young David Parry's life has been threatened by his step mother, who wants him killed so that her own son would be heir to his father's fortune. Tom Gloster, a young man mistreated by his family, is seeking a life for himself. The two join together and travel a perilous journey across a continent, with murderers in hot pursuit. Regarded as sim-witted and good for nothing by his family, Tom's true nature and abilities become apparent as he befriends David.
