Living in the not-so-distant future when the energy supply has been almost depleted, a teenage boy explores the deserted colonies near his father's Cape Cod research station and begins to understand the long-term effects of recent climate and weather changes and environmental pollution on the land and the people.In the not-too-distant future, when the supply of energy is running out, an ill-sorted group of people gathers in the decaying landscape of the deserted summer colonies of Cape Cod
