With the collaboration of the god of chaos and the goddess of illusion, Feirin is facing a future that seems impossible to navigate. She was a warrior, able to stop bullets and be in two places at once, but now those powers are mutating, leaving her without the ability to fight off Surt’s followers and reclaim a world where the sun shines, the streams run and game is plentiful.

Her metamorphosis is still incomplete when the dreamworld claims her, flinging her into the world of shadows to learn her lessons. Or so it seems. Parallel worlds confuse her as she crosses from one timeline into another, wondering how to get home.

But her destiny won’t wait forever. And if she doesn’t figure things out soon it will be too late to save anything.
