The Loving Highwayman

Alastair, Marquis of Lingard, accepts a wager that he cannot play a highwayman for one month. His parents, the Duke and Duchess of Kirkdale, make their bets and the duke hires Sir Neil Vivien to ensure Alastair fails. One evening, Sir Neil, whilst in his cups, kidnaps young Gem Murray. Lady Anne Lydford sets out to rescue Gem, and when Anne and Alastair meet they recognise a deep passion for one another.
