After a series of unfortunate events and circumstances, Theresa Tremblay is at her wits’ end.
When she receives a call from her cousin, on a particularly difficult day at the job that she loathes, she learns that there’s a storefront in her hometown of Crooked Bay, Michigan available at a super low price.
The cousin divulges that the reason for the bargain basement pricing is because the previous owner was murdered there but assures Theresa that the killer has been caught and all is well.
Theresa hesitates, but with prodding from her cousin, and urging from her adult son, she pulls up stakes and makes the move to follow her dream and open a crepe shop.
Things are going well for Theresa after the move – she’s meeting the locals, her son has big news, and preparation of the shop is coming along well, but she still has reservations.
When it becomes apparent that a killer is on her trail, Theresa is faced with yet another challenge. Will she be able to get to the bottom of what’s going on before it’s too late?
