(2027)(The eighth book in the Northern Ohio Shifters series)
A novel by R E Butler
A steamy M/F/M paranormal romance featuring two falcon shifters and a fox shifter heroine who refuses a fate she didn''t choose.
Fox shifter Vexa has spent her whole life knowing exactly what happens to females in her den – they obey the alpha and they never get to choose. When her alpha decides she’ll be his next mate, Vexa refuses to accept the future he’s chosen for her. With the help of her mom, she flees in the middle of the night, knowing the alpha will send his enforcers after her…and if they catch her, she’ll never be free again.
Falcon shifter brothers Tonik and Revere have spent years protecting the leaders of their nest, but no amount of duty has filled the empty place inside them that longs for a mate to share. The moment they meet Vexa, they know she’s theirs. She’s the female they didn’t think fate would ever give them, and now that she’s here, neither male is willing to let her go.
When enforcers show up at their gates, the future she’s only just begun to believe in is suddenly at risk. With a deranged alpha determined to claim her, Tonik and Revere will do whatever it takes to protect their mate. But can they keep Vexa safe, or will the male who thought he owned her destroy their chance at forever before it begins?
This book features a runaway fox shifter heroine, protective heroes, fated mates, chosen family, abduction and rescue, and a guaranteed happily ever after.
