THE MONTE BOYS-Vigilante Justice is a historical fiction Western based on actual events about a small group of former Texas Rangers that lead a large wagon train westward to the California Gold Rush. On the way they battle hostile Indians and bandits, but when they finally reach their destination they find out that thousands of claims have been filed and most of the gold is already gone. They settle in a town at the End of the Sante Fe Trail known as THE MONTE. They soon discover the area is overrun with lawlessness, mostly caused by gang leaders Juan Flores and Pancho Daniel. Unfortunately, the nearest law enforcement is the undermanned Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, which is too far away to help. The former Texas Rangers are forced to establish "The Monte Boys" to protect the good citizens from the criminals. The assassination of Los Angeles Sheriff J. Barton and his deputies by the Flores/Daniel Gang leads the Monte Boys to form the largest posse in history. The wild west couldn't get any wilder, or could it?
