Battle of Love

When Catherine's husband was killed in a motor racing accident, she and her young son were summoned to France to live with her rich domineering father in law, Leon Verender, who had never approved of his son's marriage but who was determined to bring up his grandson in his own way. And so Catherine found herself faced with two battles of wills: with the obstinate, ruthless old man; and with her own feelings for the handsome doctor, Philippe Sellier, who seemed dertermiend to keep her stiffly at a distance.
