Ghost of a Chance
(2026)(The second book in the Misty Meadow Matchmakers series)
A novel by Roseanne Beck
Welcome to the Misty Meadow Inn. Come for the business meetings and murder mystery parties. Stay for the ghostly therapy sessions with your ex.
Liz Pierce doesn’t have time for love. She barely has time to take care of herself. After winning a regional award, her successful consulting business is shooting her through the stratosphere.
Her newest client, however, might derail her trajectory and crash her dreams. Owner of her hometown’s largest business, he’s also the uncle of the man who broke her heart.
Carson Atwell swore he’d never return to his hometown. But when his uncle needs help with the family business, the hotshot financial analyst returns home, only to come face to face with the woman he’s tried hard to forget.
It’s hate at second meeting for Liz and Carson, but the matchmaking ghost of the Misty Meadow Inn has other ideas.
Sparks fly as Liz and Carson navigate their toughest challenges yet—dodging the Major’s supernatural shenanigans, surviving a roaming flock of chickens, and outwitting a small-town and their betting pool.
Can these two old flames survive in such close proximity? Or will the hatebirds burn everything in their paths?
If you like second chance, small-town Romcoms with matchmaking ghosts and oddball characters, you’ll go gaga for Ghost of a Chance.
Genre: Romance
