Rosecrans Baldwin is the author of Paris, I Love You But Youre Bringing Me Down (GQs Best Books of 2012) and You Lost Me There (New York Times Book Review Editors Choice, NPRs Best Books of 2010, TIME and Entertainment Weeklys Best Books of Summer 2010). His next novel, The Last Kid Left, is forthcoming from MCD/Farrar, Straus and Giroux in June 2017.
Rosecranss nonfiction appears in a variety of magazines, most frequently in GQ. Several articles have been selected as notable essays in the Best American Essays collections. He's written opinion pieces for the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and the Guardian. Previously he reviewed books on-air for NPRs All Things Considered, andcreated the Digital Ramble column for the New York Times T Magazine. He continues to edit the online 'zine TMN, host of the Rooster (aka, the Tournament of Books), which he co-founded in 1999 with publisher Andrew Womack.A MacDowell fellow, Rosecrans has taught creative writing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke Universitys Center for Documentary Studies. He was an author-in-residence at Miami Dade Colleges Miami Writers Institute in 2013. He and his wife Rachel Knowles live in Los Angeles.
